Wonderful location and friendly staff

harbour location new decor good selection attentive staff
I enjoyed the prime location overlooking the harbour. The recently refurbished room had new decor. Breakfast offered a good selection (especially the pastries). The staff were helpful and attentive to every need.
The car parking at the front of the hotel has time limits for free parking and it gets busy sometimes.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast included a good selection of cereals, pastries, and fruit. Guests can cook their own toast, which occasionally caused a queue at busy times. It is all well-prepared and full of flavor.
Facilities
8/10
The bar area is cute and friendly, although it does get busy. The hotel is quirky with a lovely blend of historic charm and modern comforts. The building is quite old and there are no lifts available.

the room wasn't great. the bed sloped. i seemed like i was rolling downhill all night. also, i noticed a rip in the curtains. it's a shame because i was looking forward to relaxing in the room, but these problems really detracted from it.
